All aluminum hard shell roof top tent. This tent has all the bells and whistles and is ONLY 117 pounds! You will not find a tent as light as this one in this category (hard shell). Please do research.

These tents are our second stage pre-production models. 

These tents are being designed to handle aggressive off-road conditions and driving. That are less bulky than 100% of the RTT tents on market (see dimension descriptions) and built with aluminum extrusion flooring instead of a single sheet to handle more abuse.

Dimensions are: 51" x 79"
- These tents are built specifically for mid-size pickup and SUV's (4Runner, LX460...) as they are 3"-6" less wide than stand roof top tents which are overrides for mid-sized vehicles. The tent is ONLY 5.5" tall (including rails)!

***We have been working on a DIY RTT (clamshell) for our customers which will be completely made in USA, will be under 100 pounds, and can be made to exact sizing needs (width and length). They will be 4.5" tall. We are about 6 months out from production. 

The listed tent is custom made in China (where 95% of RTT's are produced). We ordered five units (due to minimum) for design and testing purposes from a very well known factory. We also ordered 5 units from a different well known factory.
