What is a Hitch Hero soft shackle?

A soft shackle built to run straight through a 2" hitch receiver. The sheath protects the fibers from metal edges as thin as 3/16", so you skip the bulky receiver hardware. It also works as a standard soft shackle on any rated recovery point.

What is the difference between a kinetic recovery rope and a tow strap?

A tow strap has no stretch. It gives a static pull, which is right for a slow, controlled tow. A kinetic recovery rope stretches under load, stores that energy and releases it smoothly to free a stuck vehicle without the shock loading a strap puts on both trucks.

Do you offer international shipping?

Orders ship by UPS within 1 to 2 business days and you get a tracking number by email when the label prints. If tracking stalls, email sales@sandycats.com.

Crossovers don't come with real recovery points, and hooking to the wrong thing is how a stuck Outback turns into a bent Outback. This kit gives you safe options: the 1/2 inch bridle spreads the pull across two points, and the 3/8 inch Hitch Heros seat straight into the receiver. The 3/4 inch kinetic rope is sized for a crossover, with a double-braided jacket, reinforced eyes, UV-resistant coating and reflective braiding for night work, while 30% elongation delivers smooth, controlled recoveries.
