Replace the Metal in your recovery
Quality Construction
Spliced from UHMWPE, a fiber that holds its strength around a tight bend and doesn't stretch, so all the stretch stays in the kinetic rope where it belongs. A protective sleeve covers the body, the knot is hand-spliced, and it won't rust, seize or sink. Two sizes: 7/16 inch at 41,000 lb and 1/2 inch at 58,000 lb.

Lighter Than Steel
A 1/2 inch soft shackle is rated at 58,000 lb, well above the steel D-ring it replaces, and it weighs next to nothing in the bag. No pin to drop in the mud, no steel to fly if something lets go, and it wraps around anything solid: a recovery point, a tree saver, a rope eye.

Built for Safety
Every Kinetic-X rope and shackle is pull-tested to failure by an independent lab in California before we publish a rating. Beyond that, we keep pushing our gear to find safer, more effective ways to recover. Every piece carries its manufacturing date, so you always know its age.
Rigged to mountain-rescue standards, not parking-lot standards.

Which Size?
Match the shackle to your rope: 7/16 inch with the 3/4 and 7/8 inch ropes, 1/2 inch with the 1 and 1.25 inch ropes. Every recovery kit ships with two, sized to the rope. For a receiver, an A-arm or a frame, the Hitch Hero adds a metal-safe sheath.
Rethink Recovery. Redefine Strength.
The Kinetic-X Recovery Gear line is designed, built, and tested to be the most reliable, durable, and affordable recovery gear on the market.
It's built to get you back home.
