Stretch Is the Point.
Quality Construction
Nylon 6.6 rope with a double-braided jacket and a tight sheath that stretches with the core. Loose sheaths let grit into the core, and sheaths that don't stretch overheat it. Ours does neither. Reinforced eyes, a protective coating, and reflective strands you can spot at night. It stretches over 30% for a smooth, controlled pull, and it comes in four sizes, from 3/4 inch for light SUVs to 1.25 inch for one-ton trucks, so the rope matches the rig.

The Pull
A kinetic pull is two rigs and one rope. Hook up, leave a few feet of slack, and roll into it at a few miles an hour. The rope stretches, stores the energy and lets it back out smooth, so the stuck truck comes free without the jolt a strap puts through both frames. Keep everyone clear of the rope while it's loaded, and check both ends before the next pull.

Built for Safety
Every Kinetic-X rope and shackle is pull-tested to failure by an independent lab in California before we publish a rating. Beyond that, we keep pushing our gear to find safer, more effective ways to recover. Every piece carries its manufacturing date, so you always know its age.
Rigged to mountain-rescue standards, not parking-lot standards.

Which Size?
Size the rope to your rig, the one doing the pulling, by its loaded weight: truck plus fuel, people, gear and a camper if you carry one. 3/4 inch for 3,000 to 5,400 lb, 7/8 for 5,000 to 7,400, 1 inch for 7,000 to 10,200, 1-1/4 for 10,000 to 15,000. A rope too big for your rig won't stretch, and one too small gets overloaded, so don't size up. The stuck rig's weight doesn't change your pick. Over 15,000 lb, look at the Heavy Duty line.
We Tried To Break It.
An Escalade and a GX460 hitting the end of the rope over and over, with a pine tree anchoring the other end. That's a torture test, not a recovery. Real pulls are slower and a lot gentler.
It's built to get you back home.
