Soft Gear. Hard Pulls. In Black.

Quality Construction

Nylon 6.6 rope with a double-braided jacket and a tight sheath that stretches with the core. Loose sheaths let grit into the core, and sheaths that don't stretch overheat it. Ours does neither. Reinforced eyes, a protective coating, and reflective strands you can spot at night. It stretches over 30% for a smooth, controlled pull. The Kilo Black rope is the 7/8 inch, rated 28,600 lb, built for rigs from 5,000 to 7,400 lb loaded.

The Pull

A kinetic pull is two rigs and one rope. Hook up, leave a few feet of slack, and roll into it at a few miles an hour. The rope stretches, stores the energy and lets it back out smooth, so the stuck truck comes free without the jolt a strap puts through both frames. Keep everyone clear of the rope while it's loaded, and check both ends before the next pull.

Built for Safety

Every Kinetic-X rope and shackle is pull-tested to failure by an independent lab in California before we publish a rating. Beyond that, we keep pushing our gear to find safer, more effective ways to recover. Every piece carries its manufacturing date, so you always know its age.

Rigged to mountain-rescue standards, not parking-lot standards.

The Hitch Hero

The Hitch Hero is a soft shackle with a sheath, built to run straight through a 2 inch or bigger receiver. The sheath takes the metal edge, down to 3/16 inch, so you don't need a receiver insert or a rated bumper point. Off the truck it goes around an A-arm or a frame, close to the bolt, for gentle pulls. The one in this bag is the 7/16 inch, rated 41,000 lb, above the rope it carries.

We Tried To Break It.

An Escalade and a GX460 hitting the end of the rope over and over, with a pine tree anchoring the other end. That's a torture test, not a recovery. Real pulls are slower and a lot gentler. Same rope as the olive kit, same ratings, just black. It's built to get you back home.

"I have a ranch in East Texas... yesterday a 55,000 pound garbage truck went in the ditch. We used a 95 hp skid steer and made 6 HARD pulls. The rope did not break."

"I've been using the full line of Kinetic X recovery products for over 2 years now and can confidently say they are a step above even the expensive name-brand options..."

"High quality rope, reflective at night. Dipped ends to make the rope last. Rope shackles are truly game changing- no more clanking, heavy, rusty gear to haul along. Super fast and secure attachment"

"We got 17\" of snow today and was able to use my new rigging today pulling people out."

"Haven't used every item yet but this is a nice kit well built and I'm glad I opted for this rather than spending more on more well known kits for name brand recognition."

Tanner H.

"A fantastic kit for anyone looking to have all your kinetic recovery equipment in one place. The rope offers amazing pull, while being tough enough to stand up to the elements. The Hitch Hero is an amazing piece of equipment that I think should replace common d-rings in most cases, as it is extremely quick and easy to setup."
