Designed For Vans
A Sprinter has no strong recovery points from the factory, and pulling on the wrong thing gets expensive fast. This kit is built around that problem: the bridle keeps the pull centered and spreads the load across two points, and the Hitch Hero soft shackles seat straight into the receiver. The 1 inch kinetic rope is sized for a loaded van, with a double-braided jacket, reinforced eyes, UV-resistant coating and reflective braiding for night work, while 30% elongation delivers smooth, controlled recoveries.

Low And Centered
A van carries its weight high, so a pull from one corner wants to twist it. The 10 foot static bridle runs through the rope's eye and slides to equalize, so the pull stays centered across the front even when the two rigs aren't lined up, and it keeps the load low, where a top-heavy van wants it. That's the setup on the laminated Sprinter guide card in the bag, and it's the one that gets a loaded van out of sand without bending a bumper.

Built for Safety
Every Kinetic-X rope and shackle is pull-tested to failure by an independent lab in California before we publish a rating. Beyond documented testing, the Sandy Cats team continuously pushes the limits of our gear, finding safer and more effective ways to recover a stuck rig. Every rope carries its production date on the tag, so you always know how old it is.
Rigged to mountain-rescue standards, not parking-lot standards.

Which Size?
The 1 inch rope is sized for the rig doing the pulling at 7,000 to 10,200 lb loaded, which covers a built Sprinter and the truck that pulls it out. Size by the puller's loaded weight, and don't size up if you're between sizes. 30 foot is the all-round pick, 20 foot when space is tight. Lighter rig doing the pulling? The Ultimate runs the same gear on a 7/8 inch rope.
Watch The Van Kit Work.
A loaded Sprinter in soft sand, a 4Runner on the other end of the rope. The bridle spreads the pull across the van's front, the Hitch Heros rig into the receiver, and the 1 inch rope does the rest. No winch, no shovel marathon, no bent bumper. It's built to get you back home.
