A pulley needs a babysitter

Until the winch line is tight, a pulley hangs loose on its shackle. Someone has to stand there and hold it, or the line slips off.

Strap it on and walk away

The anti-tip block straps to the pulley and sits between the legs of the soft shackle. The pulley stays where you put it. Go slack when you want and don't worry about the pulley.
