A 20' nylon snatch strap, a 20' polyester tow strap, a second pulley with its own Anti-Tip Block, and a second black bag. The straps let you run the safest dead-rig tow there is: one truck in front, one behind, the dead rig bridled at both ends. Bought separately those pieces run $192; in the Pro they’re $130 over the Titan.

A 2 inch or bigger receiver, an A-arm, a frame, or any other solid metal component. Its sheath protects the shackle from raw metal edges as thin as 3/16 inch, so you don't need a receiver insert or a rated bumper point. Never rig to a tow ball.

For recovery points too small to take a Hitch Hero. Our rule is no soft-to-metal-to-soft: we don't put a metal link between two soft pieces. Metal on metal, a D-ring on a steel recovery point, is fine.

On purpose. After a hectic recovery the rope is wet and caked in mud, and nobody wants to coil it tight enough to fit back in a snug bag on the trail. So most guys throw it in the bed or on the back seat floor as is, and live with the mess. This bag is big enough to stuff the dirty rope straight in, no coiling, and your truck stays clean. Wash it and coil it properly when you get home. The extra room also fits the straps, gloves and other gear you already carry. It's a storage bag, not a case.

Every Kinetic-X rope and shackle is pull-tested to failure by an independent lab in California before we publish a rating. Every rope carries its production date on the tag, so you always know how old it is.

Every piece carries a lifetime warranty under proper use, within its published service life, which starts the day it's shipped. Ropes and shackles are good for 10 years stored properly, shaded and out of the weather, or 5 years if they live exposed in a truck bed, on a bumper or on a roof rack. A hard pull alone doesn't retire them: retire a rope if any stretch feels too stiff, and a shackle if there's a torn strand under the sleeve. The tow strap follows the same 10 and 5 year rule.
