What does the Titan add over the Ultimate?

The Ultimate is a rope, two soft shackles and one Hitch Hero: enough for a straight kinetic pull. The Titan's biggest step up is two bridles, so you can run one on each rig. Each bridle spreads the pull across two recovery points, which takes stress off the parts, keeps the pull centered even when the trucks aren't lined up, and keeps both vehicles in line. It also adds two more Hitch Heros, a third soft shackle, a pulley with the Anti-Tip Block, two D-rings and gloves, for rigging to trees, frames and control arms and for winch redirects.

What does a Hitch Hero hook to?

A 2 inch or bigger receiver, an A-arm, a frame, or any other solid metal component. Its sheath protects the shackle from raw metal edges as thin as 3/16 inch, so you don't need a receiver insert or a rated bumper point. Never rig to a tow ball.

Why are there steel D-rings in the kit?

For recovery points too small to take a Hitch Hero. Our rule is no soft-to-metal-to-soft: we don't put a metal link between two soft pieces. Metal on metal, a D-ring on a steel recovery point, is fine.

Is the winch line extension included?

No. The 50' winch line extension is an add-on. Tick it under Select addons and it's 20% off with the kit.

Every Kinetic-X rope and shackle is pull-tested to failure by an independent lab in California before we publish a rating. Every rope carries its production date on the tag, so you always know how old it is.

What's the warranty, and how long does the gear last?

Every piece carries a lifetime warranty under proper use, within its published service life, which starts the day it's shipped. Ropes and shackles are good for 10 years stored properly, shaded and out of the weather, or 5 years if they live exposed in a truck bed, on a bumper or on a roof rack. Quality Construction

Nylon 6.6 rope with a double-braided jacket and a tight sheath that stretches with the core. Loose sheaths let grit into the core, and sheaths that don't stretch overheat it. Ours does neither. Reinforced eyes, a protective coating, and reflective strands you can spot at night. It stretches over 30% for a smooth, controlled pull.

Versatile Usage

The Titan carries more pieces than any other kit, and every one does more than one job. Run a bridle on each rig and the pull spreads across two recovery points at both ends: less stress on parts, and both trucks stay centered and in line. The Hitch Hero goes through a receiver or around an A-arm or frame, and the Hero Bridle wraps rims and control arms.
